According to statistics of China Customs, in March, China's total value of import and export amount to 162.02 billion U.S. dollars, a drop of 20.9 percent as compared with the same period last year; of this total, the value of exports was US$ 90.29 billion, dropped by 17.1 percent year-on-year; the value of imports was US$ 71.73 billion, dropped by 25.1 percent year-on-year. Trade surplus of 18.56 billion U.S. dollars in March, up 41.2%.
