On April 21, a cargo ship was running into the main sea-route of the Xiangjiang River,Changsha part under the high-water level. Recently, it is reported from the Hunan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that from April 18th Hunan suffered the largest coverage range of heavy rain in 2009, resulting in water level full up in the Xiangjiang, Zijiang, Yuanjiang, Lishui and Dongting Lake area. At a.m. 8:00 on the April 21st, the water level of Xiangjiang River Changsha part has risen to 31.15 meters, up 2.26 meters compared with the same period of April 19th.
