Evergreen Marine Corp,and China Shipping Container Line launched a joint weekly service linking ports in Asia with the Pacific Northwest on Oct 14.

The carriers will operate six vessels, each with a capacity of 5,500 TEUs, in a vessel sharing arrangement that will result in a more efficient and convenient trans-Pa-cific routing, the carriers said.

Evergreen and China Shipping will each contribute three vessels.

The rotation will be Ningbo, Shanhai,Kaohsiung, Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tacoma, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., Tokyo, Osaka and Ningbo.
